White Moth - Cylindrifrons succandidalis

White Moth - Cylindrifrons succandidalis
Horseshoe Springs, Skull Valley (N40°32.528'W112°44.001'), Tooele County, Utah, USA
August 16, 2008
Any and all suggestions appreciated. What appears to be condensation on the grass are actually salts, the location was once part of the Great Salt Lake's flood zone, might be again someday.

Moved tentatively. Would be new genus and species for the guide!

Good choice.
C. succandidalis is a Utah native. Also new to my list, thanks for the possible ID.

Moved
Moved from Acontiini.

Pyraloid?
I don't think this is an Acontiine.

Moved
Moved from Moths.

Acontiinae?
Checked every image at All-Leps without success but that said, I still think Acontiinae is a good bet.

Your effort...
is appreciated. I'll move it along the chain and maybe someone will have a suggestion.
