Assassin bug - Zelus longipes

Assassin bug - Zelus longipes
Washington Parish, Louisiana, USA
August 26, 2008
Would appreciate ID on this assassin. Is this a milkweed bug nymph?

Milkweed assassin bug.
Very nice image of a "milkweed assassin bug," Zelus longipes, feeding on a "sweat bee" in the family Halictidae.

Thanks
Many thanks for coming through for me again, Eric.

Tom

And for part two:
No, this is not a nymph. The wings indicate adult. After seeing a few nymphs you will see the difference.3

I will also move this to the guide page.
