caterpillar - Estigmene acrea

caterpillar - Estigmene acrea
near lake Tahoe County, California, USA
September 25, 2022
Is this an Edwards glassy wing or salt marsh caterpillar? Thanks for ID help!

Moved
Moved from Tiger Moths.

Maybe it was recently molted and the head wasn't darkened yet.

estigmene acrea....
Possible trauma to eyes and first segments going by the lack of setae. The eyes also look a bit 'glassier' than usual.

Moved
Moved from ID Request.

It looks like something very close to Estigmene acrea, but the mostly-orange colored head is confusing.
