We have a species ID!
I actually discovered other online images that are positively ID'd as "Labena grallator." They are parasites (in the larval stage) of wood-boring beetle larvae. Creating a new guide page:-)

They are incorrect.
I know Daniel the webmaster. Shame on him:-) We have yet to ID this very distinctive species.
