Yellow Caterpillar -
Papilio troilus
Mount Holly, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
July 8, 2008
Size: about 2"
Sorry it's dead BUT I didn't do it. Found it in the pool when checking the screen. Attemped mouth to mouth resuscitation but it was just too late. What is it?

Thanks!
Thank you for your ID! Wow, that was fast! :)
Funny how once you get a name you see it all over the place on the net. It seems to me that the word 'papilio' is a general term catagorizing this type of caterpillar. Interesting enough is the spicebush lavae really like Sassafras tree leaves which are the trees near the pool that I found this little fella.
Here's a flicker search with some other great pics...

Thanks again!
