First Eristalis of the day - Eristalis tenax

First Eristalis of the day - Eristalis tenax
Carver, Clackamas County, Oregon, USA
October 19, 2022
This one came in to bask soon after the sun started warming the area after a cool, dewey night. Directly under the Abelia that is so attractive but showed no interest. Piloisty show up in this light.
