Moth ID Requested - Caenurgina erechtea
Orrick, Ray County, Missouri, USA
Size: I would guess 1"-1.5"
This moth flew in my front door and landed on my carpet, which is a fairly common occurrence around here, but he was so prettily marked that I had to take his photo! Really would like to know what kind he is, as I can't seem to find a match in the guide. I thought about some kind of Panthea, pattern was somewhat close but it didn't look fuzzy enough and leg colors didn't match.

Any suggestions??

Caenurgina erechtea (Noctuoidea: Erebidae: Catocalinae: Euclidiini), male - Hodges' List # 8739

Ahhh thank you!
I don't know that I would have identified it based off the photos in the guide either! Although I can obviously see it's the same guy, they look so different with their wings spread.

Thanks again!
