Size: about an inch
small moth found near Devils Fingers fungi on rotted wood. Seemed to be resting in the early morning dew

If I read correctly...this would then be a False Crocus Geometer then? Xanthotype sospeta or Xanthotype urticaria are the 2 I found listed as possible.
It was solo and I've never seen one like it it's size although have seen larger yellow and orange moths similar in looks in South Western Missouri.
