Ladybug I’ve Never Seen

Ladybug I’ve Never Seen
Fredericksburg, Stafford County, Virginia, USA
October 31, 2022
Found inside my home on Oct 31, 2022. Size of the “usual” ladybug. What I’m coming up with in my research says it’s not in Virginia (Adalia decempunctata) and it has more spots, but info tells me that species can have more or less? Looked like there were about 16 spots. When I took the picture, it flew away and disappeared. So, I’d really like to know what this is!

You're welcome :)
Moved from ID Request.

does this mean
that there are gonna be more?

sorry
wrong person 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm not sure...
...that I understand your question.

Looks like...
...the Asian Lady Beetle (Harmonia axyridis):

They're quite variable.

Well that makes more sense…
