Lace Bug of some kind? - Corythucha incurvata

Lace Bug of some kind? - Corythucha incurvata
Aromas, San Benito County, California, USA
August 28, 2008
Size: ~3mm.
Another lace bug collected in our yard, using my spiffy new beating sheet, it was on Baccharis pilularis. It was collected 3 hours after , in the same area, & is likely the same species. (live oak/chaparral habitat).

Corythucha cf. cydoniae

Corythucha incurvata
is recorded on Heteromeles arbutifolia and sometimes on live oak as well. Though you were sweeping on Bacharis, your previous post (node#219304) mentioning that you were sweeping on Heteromeles arbutifolia and live oak/chaparral really helped with the ID. Though the image on your previous post seems to be a teneral (just emerged adult, no coloration yet) I can say that it is the same species, Corythucha incurvata.

Yes, lace bug.
