Fuzzy Moth-Like insect found in Fayetteville -
Atalopedes campestris
-
Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas, USA
October 13, 2022
This insect was resting on a flower when I was observing it. It is brown and almost fuzzy like. It has spots on its wings, and big eyes for its body.

Lee is correct. It is a female Sachem, which is a type of Grass Skipper (a butterfly).
