Geometer moth? -
Destutia excelsa
Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado, USA
August 29, 2008
Size: ~18mm head to "tail"
This is such a huge moth family. Can anyone help me narrow this one down? Unfortunately, I only got this one shot before it took off.

I am not from your area but I feel sure of the Genus. See
which has been identified in Arizona. There were others I would have considered before this species but none had been identified/sighted in Arizona.

Confident?
Is that a sure enough ID to move it to the species page? Not questioning your abilities, I just don't want to move it prematurely. Thanks! :)

Synaxis? pallulata maybe?
Something in that genus I think. See pallulata here:
Maybe a slightly worn one?
Im sure it isn't jubaria, the black lines are too bold.

Look similar, but
I don't think that's exactly it. The anterior line is straighter on mine. The spots might be there, if I squint just right. Thanks for your help! :)
