small moth - Anoncia mosa

small moth - Anoncia mosa
Moreno Valley, Riverside County, California, USA
April 8, 2022
Small moth attracted to a porch light. Seems similar to Blastobasis glandulella.

Moved tentatively
Moved from Anoncia. Matches holotype well; shape of basal fascia unlike in any other figured specimens in the fascicle. Season fits and seems to rule out fasciata, the species with next-most similar basal fascia to this.

Interesting
I can't find a match in bugguide or Moth Photographers Group photos, but both are incomplete. I'll have to do some more digging and see if I can find a match.

Moved from ID Request.
