Not sure of this one. Wing veining shows well. Just chanced upon it perched in the underbrush so don't know anything about behavior. May not be a Beefly as the wings too short for the bulky body? (Just an impression). Only this single photo (x3).

I've seen one other Villa here in 18 months [thumb:Clackamas]. Although somewhat similar in the banding they appear to my amateur eye to be quite different structurally. The earlier one bulkier body and more pointed wings.
