I went out for a walk shortly before midnight and wound up getting a number of interesting nighttime bug photos. I found this grouping of spiders nesting on the overgrown base of a street lamp. I'm assuming these are widow spiders. Can someone confirm and tell me which species specifically? Thanks!

probably
im not an expert, but i did read a bit about them after seeing one i thought was a black widow, but i think it probably is. it has the red hourglass on it, and thats the only spider i know that has that on it.
