Species ID by Connor Graham, Subspecies ID made by Peter Messer through iNaturalist

I found antennae poking out from under the elytra of one of the Calosoma sayi, and carefully pried apart the elytra, and much to my surprise, found a dead, Stenomorphus underneath.
