The vast majority of psocid species ...
have never been photographed. Because of their secretive nature and small size, they go unnoticed by the casual observer. Also, they can be difficult to identify to species. People often mail specimen to me after they have taken a "live" shot. Usually, but cetainly not always, I can make an ID by close examination of the specimen.
