Arizona Noctuid - Condica andrena

Arizona Noctuid - Condica andrena
Wikieup, Mohave County, Arizona, USA
October 17, 2022
Size: ~17 mm FW
Found at the BLM Burro Creek Campground. After repeated searches of the MPG live moth and mounted spreadwing plate series, I am still unable to suggest a species for this one.

Moved
Moved from Owlet Moths. This and the Mark Drelling images placed here at andrena match up well with the Poole description and range, however they do not match his collection times. So, these could conceivably all be misplaced, but at least they are all together in one place for now.

Moved from ID Request.

Looks like...
It might be something like Condica claufacta, but I'm not very experienced with that genus. Let's ask an expert.

Condica
It appears that claufacta is limited to SE coastal states. I just placed comment on the one BG image from Arizona currently placed under that species. However, your comment prompted me to go thru Condica one more time in looking for this one. I remember earlier that I looked closely at Condica morsa, but dismissed that because it just did not look close enough and appears to limited to Texas. During this most recent search I noticed a lot of similarity between this moth and Condica charada which is known from Mohave County, AZ. This is closest I have gotten to suggesting a species, so thanks for taking a look at this Bob.
