Goodness.
I was so excited to find the photo that I didn't even look at Charley's mention of host. Besides, I guess I was unaware that hoppers could be host specific.

generally
these Typhlocybine nymphs are undescribed/unassociated with the respective adult and so cannot be ID’d. this one is very lucky, there are only a few species we can associate with a name! also, many leafhoppers are host specific! most are specialized in some way which explains their high diversity in part. that’s why there are so many species that are uncommonly encountered.
