Stagmomantis californica ? - Mantis religiosa - Male

Size: ~6cm.
Came to black light in our yard last night. (live oak/chaparral habitat).

Not Stagmomantis.
This looks like a male Mantis religiosa, a now widespread introduced species (from Europe). Look for a black "bull's-eye" on the inside surface of the front legs where they join the body.
