Moved
Moved from ID Request. After placing this, I noticed this other image below from Orange County. See Steve Nanz's comments under this image. According to the Rindge (1976) range maps, P. californiaria ranges along coastal California from well north of Los Angeles and northward. However, after seeing the image below, I am wondering it its range may reach further south. The ST line on your moth is much less prominent than the one below, but it also shows more of an ST line than the one below that I found in the Cleveland National Forest in October. Anyway, I will leave your image here for now, but these comments should reflect that I am now not absolutely certain about this placement.

P. Diva.
I have seen a few of these light brown individuals that have a similar Post- median band as the one I submitted. I'll send them once I can locate them.
