Size: 18 mm long
This looks to me like the Darksided Cutworm AKA Reaper Dart -- Euxoa messoria - Harris 1841 (Hodges 10705) but I would like other opinions. Attracted to light, captured, cooled, posed for photo & released.
There is a good review of this moth in the University of Alberta Entomology Collection. Also Lynn Scott has good images and info.
