Halyomorpha halys

Halyomorpha halys
Pasadena, Los Angeles County, California, USA
August 23, 2008
Size: ~ 7mm
Living in a plastic vial, it has molted. This is the next instar (fourth? metanotal wingpads seem to be showing), see a photo of the exuvia to the right. Size increase ≤ 1mm, though difficult to measure since it doesn't hold still.

Location.
Does the location for this image indicate this species has now been found in California?

Yes, Eric,
there's an L.A. County fact sheet which can be downloaded from a link I recently added to the INFO page; also added a link to the invasive.org fact sheet.

Strangely, this nymph is the only one I've found in my garden so far.
By the way, Eric, have you come across the Bagrada bug in AZ?
