updated again in 2012
The AMNH site now requests the year and URL be included in the citation, as follows:
“Schuh, R.T. 2012. On-line Systematic Catalog of Plant Bugs (Insecta: Heteroptera: Miridae). http://research.amnh.org/pbi/catalog/”

Sorry everyone -
I fixed this (for now).

The page was largely updated recently (2011-10-19).
So, would you please change the year from 2008 to 2011 or delete the year from the heading?

Ken--
the site has specific citation requirements stated at the bottom of every page: "Schuh, R.T. 2008. On-line Systematic Catalog of Plant Bugs (Insecta: Heteroptera: Miridae)"

so i would suggest, for compliance purposes, putting in the title box "On-line Systematic Catalog of Plant Bugs (Insecta: Heteroptera: Miridae), by R.T. Schuh (2008)"

i think it's a workable compromise, also in line with BG's prevailing citation format

Oops -
thanks for the heads up, v. I must have missed that... :(

hugely appreciated; it's a shame we can't edit each other's Books/Links entries and have to waste the original contributor's time asking to make minor changes. hope the elusive BG 2.0 provides such a capability -- as well as makes those ref items movable across guide sections
