Ichneumonid with 2 orange dorsal bands across abdomen, visiting Euphorbia esula flowers in isolated, late-flowering patch. 1 seen today. Dry floodplain dominated by Agropyron intermedium. Sunny mid-morning to early afternoon, 71 F to 83 F, 50% clouds, light breeze.

Elevation ca 4000 feet. Disturbed riparian corridor on stream restoration site within a patchwork of native and non-native grassland.

Specimen collected, will be sent to Brandon Claridge in hopes of a further ID. Collection number Sater #905
