Baiting Hollow, Sufflok County, New York, USA
August 24, 2008
Size: about 2-3 mm.
Does anyone know what the 2 structures protruding from the underside of the thorax are?

Found on Feverfew.

it's definitely what is shown in the Guide as G.picumnus
the horns are spines peculiar to males of this group (several genera)

Thanks much for the ID confirmation and extra info.

pleasure's all mine
