Syrphid - Parhelophilus laetus

Syrphid - Parhelophilus laetus
Texas Canyon, Dragoon, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
August 27, 2008
Size: Very Small
I spotted this fly near a pond on the grounds where I work in a very rural community about 16 miles east of Benson, Ariz. It is on a Sacred Datura blossom.
I have searched Bee Flies, Hover Flies, Tachinid Flies, and find very close looking species, but nothing right on.
I'd love to know which this is.

Syrphidae.
It is a syrphid, but not sure what genus. Reminds me of Helophilus, but you can't always compare color and pattern:-)

Thanks Eric.
So many choices!
