I don't know anything about bugs but I think you are correct. A good match and even on the same type of plant. The new image is clearer in detail, so I uploaded it. This beautiful little bug was photographed on the shores of Lake Geneva, WI. Not far from Skokie. This blue dragonfly and other similar dragonflies were a part of Lake Geneva lake shore life in the 1950's and 1960's. I rarely see them now.
