Pyrausta zonalis

Size: ~8.5 mm TL
Found at Corn Springs Campground. This moth matches up very well with the original Barnes & McDunnough original description, the Munroe description in MONA Fascicle 13.2B, the location and dates specified by Munroe, and the Jim Vargo image posted at MPG. I have looked closely at all the other images currently showing of this species at BG, MPG and BOLD and believe they are all misidentified except for this moth and Jim Vargo's.
