Gall? -
Schizomyia impatientis
Hartford County, Connecticut, USA
September 7, 2008
Size: 1 cm
This was found on Jewelweed (
Impatiens capensis
) where the flower/seed pod would be.
Is this a gall? If so, any ideas of what might cause it?
