WASP ON JAPANESE KNOTWEED - Isodontia mexicana

WASP ON JAPANESE KNOTWEED - Isodontia mexicana
Greenville, Providence County, Rhode Island, USA
September 9, 2008
Size: approx.3/4"
I was taking a couple of photos of the flowers of a Japanese Knotweed. Then, climbing vertically and into view was this wasp. It was not shy, nor aggressive. It seemed fixed on the flowers of this plant.
