Found this guy sunning himself on a friend's cord wood stack this summer.

Fishing Spider
It's a Fishing Spider of the Genus Dolomedes. It's tough to tell what the exact species is in this photo, but I think it's safe to say that it could be either Dolomedes tenebrosus or Dolomedes scriptus (I'm leaning more towards D. tenebrosus, though).

Thank you very much for the info Brett. I spent far too much time trying to blindly find this info myself on the net, with little to go on besides the photo, and not getting anywhere.
