I saw a large wolf spider run out from a clump of dried grass onto a dirt road followed by a spider wasp. I returned less than a minute later with my camera and found two female spider wasps fighting near the paralyzed wolf spider. Eventually, one of the spider wasps left and the remaining spider wasp dragged the paralyzed wolf spider into a hole at the base of a clump of grass. The nest entrance was not closed and over the next few days saw the female enter and leave the nest. I believe the female roosted in the nest at night.
