You might want to look out for the sexually dimorph male : with much darker and unpatterned large abdomen. What both sexes have in common are the two bilateral white thoracic spots.

To diff between Sminthurinus and Prorastriopes check the subdivision of ant.4 :
in Sminthurinus : undived
in Prorastriopes : subdivided

 
Oh, interesting. I had found
Oh, interesting. I had found a ton of P. coalingaensis last year by sweeping the tall grass in my yard, but the females' patterning looked a bit different from these, although there are some similarities. I haven't seen any males yet this year in the pitfall trap, just ~5-6 of this coloration so far. I'll keep an eye out though.
