Chionodes braunella

Chionodes braunella
Heil Valley Ranch, Boulder County, Colorado, USA
September 4, 2022
6800', area of burned Ponderosas, native meadows quickly recovering from the fire, came to LED lights.
Aaron, your comments from posting this photo on iN:
Appearance perfectly consistent with braunella, which Hodges notes "is highly variable in color, shade, size, and genital characters." It's the only member of the eponymous "complex" in the fascicle, but barcode data suggest braunella may be a species complex after all. A thorough check for other possible identities would be very time consuming, but none of the many other brown species in the plates really stuck out to me as matching this moth.
