 Underwing Moth - Catocala vidua

Underwing Moth - Catocala vidua
Moccasin Lake, Winston, Douglas County, Georgia, USA
September 11, 2008
Size: about 80 mm span
While busy concentrating on photographing another moth, this guy flew in and struck me in the back of the head. Needless to say I was a bit startled. Very large moth with his wings wide open, bluish tint on HW. The only moth I could find in BG that came close was the Sad Underwing. Contradiction or confirmation would be appreciated.
