Fly or Bee? - Toxophora amphitea
Boca Raton, Palm Beach County, Florida, USA

Size: 1/2 to 3/4 inch
I was photographing a dragonfly when this insect came and shooed the dragonfly from its perch. Picture was taken at 6:45 PM tonight in that part of the garden planted to salvia.
