Haliplidae.
A "crawling water beetle" from the family Haliplidae. The image of its underside shows clearly the enormous coxal plates that are indicative of this family.

Enormous coxal plates.
Thanks for the keying info Eric. I guess it pays to flip them over and shoot their undersides on occasion.
