That was my initial impression, but
I couldn't see the palps typical of the genus. After reading again, the following comment made by Peter W. Messer:
"The end of each maxillary appendage shows a tiny "stub". - hence "Bembidion"! Stubs captured only in lateral view."
I noticed that the third image in this series shows that character.
