Wolf Spider - possible Geolycosa - Geolycosa missouriensis - male

Wolf Spider - possible Geolycosa - Geolycosa missouriensis - Male
Grantsburg, Burnett County, Wisconsin, USA
September 16, 2008
Size: 3/4 inch body
This one was out in the open but there were burrows all over nearby and human activity may have driven this one out into the open. It was not very active and took some prodding to get it off the road. Watched all summer for these guys and after spring, not many burrows noticed. In the last month burrows have sprung up all over the area and are various sizes.

Earlier post here on similar spider in holehttp://bugguide.net/node/view/179562/bgimage

I may be wrong in thinking its the same species, so any help on a species ID would be great.
Thanks for the help!
