Im needing to find out what kind of spider this is. A few people around here have seen this spider. A few have also experienced some "bite" looking things on their body that get swollen, hot and hurt to touch. One child was even hospitalized but we dont know what the "bite" was. We are wondering if it could be this spider so we need to learn more about it. Please let me know if you know what this could be.

Dysdera crocata and a few oth
Dysdera crocata and a few other spider species can be found in homes across the entire U.S. and Canada, but they usually aren't noticed until a scapegoat is required. And since spiders don't feed on human blood, they should be at the bottom of your list of things to look for.

Number one on that list might be a dermatologist. What you are describing sounds more like a Staph infection.
