Chrysomela sp.? - Chrysomela schaefferi - male - female

Chrysomela sp.? - Chrysomela schaefferi - Male Female
Ogden (41.2350, -111.9619), Weber County, Utah, USA
June 22, 2023
Size: 7.3mm Width: 3.6mm
Observation definitely shows male and female genders. I am unsure of the gender of the specimen collected. Colors on margines of pronotum vary from cream white to a reddish orange. Collected specimen had the whiter margines on the pronotum. Preserved with acetone, no noticeable color loss from live specimen. Supplemental images show the host tree, and some beetles Ive found mating. Found on a small tree (some kind of aspen?) in a path north of Ogden cemetery leading to the Ogden river.
Probably Chrysomela sp. Maybe C. schaefferi?, however C. confluens fits close as well. Vaguely resembles other species.
