Enallagma praevarum ? - Enallagma praevarum - Male
Aromas, San Benito County, California, USA
September 18, 2008
Size: ~3cm.
Saw this guy in our pasture, which is mostly dry weeds on sandy soil (the soil in our area is mostly ancient sand dunes, known as "Aromas Red Sand").
After looking at http://www.sonic.net/~bigsnest/Pond/Lists/pond_damsels.html, (1) & , I think this might be Enallagma praevarum. (live oak/chaparral habitat).
