I suppose this is the commonest butterfly.
Introduced from Europe on Cabbages(I guess??)

Since it has two bold spots on the forewing it is a female and this "v pose" is common in this species.

Away from Europe it is called the Cabbage white or Common White.

(In Europe it is to distinguish it from the Large Cabbage White or just simply Cabbage white)
