Tiger Moth - Apantesis parthenice - Male
Moccasin Lake, Winston, Douglas County, Georgia, USA

Size: about 25 mm
Attracted to light. I have searched all through Grammia and was unable to find a match for the one I photographed. I found a couple of species that were close, but I couldn't make the connection. Could someone please help ID this specimen? It would be much appreciated.

Why?
We are trying to clean up "ID Request" and politely ask that you leave your images where they are moved. There is obvious consensus at the genus level and an expert is more likely to see these images there than in IDR. Thank you.
