I see one tarsal claw larger than the other, or am I seeing things. If so, I offer the identification of Anoplius ithaca, based on that and the habitat.

this view you can especially see the unequal size of the tarsal claws. After a second look I'm convinced that this is Anoplius Ithaca.

best guess-timate of size.

Larrini?
I was all set to call this a pompilid until I took a closer look. Pretty sure it is a crabronid wasp in the Larrini tribe, or something very closely related. ID to genus hinges on the "ocellar scars." Where most wasps have ocelli, Larrini have varying degrees of creases where the ocelli 'should' be.
