Again, Juba?
Returning to this years later, I still don't see a Juba Skipper. The dorsal pattern doesn't match any specimen of female Juba that I've seen thusfar, and it seems to be a much better match for Western Branded Skipper (H. colorado). I'm going to move it to Hesperia.

Not that I'm disagreeing with you, because the underwing pattern is pretty darn bold, but how did you eliminate Western Branded-Skipper (H. colorado) for sure? These two taxa drive me nuts from photos alone. The dorsal pattern seems very muted compared to what I might expect on a Juba, although I know it's variable.
