Again, Juba?
Returning to this years later, I still don't see a Juba Skipper. The dorsal pattern doesn't match any specimen of female Juba that I've seen thusfar, and it seems to be a much better match for Western Branded Skipper (

Juba?
Not that I'm disagreeing with you, because the underwing pattern is pretty darn bold, but how did you eliminate Western Branded-Skipper (
H. colorado
) for sure? These two taxa drive me nuts from photos alone. The dorsal pattern seems very muted compared to what I might expect on a Juba, although I know it's variable.
