hry grn Bup 2 - Acmaeodera resplendens

hry grn Bup 2 - Acmaeodera resplendens
Rose Canyon, Santa Catalina Mts., Pima County, Arizona, USA
September 20, 2008
Size: ~8-10mm
This Bup found about 7,000 feet. First of 2 images. It literally "sparkled," maybe because of the hairs covering it. Would like to know which genus/species it might be.

Hi Margarethe
I usually check your beetle images before I post unknowns of mine. Didn't this time or I'd have found its name!

I'm pretty sure this is Acmae
I'm pretty sure this is Acmaeodera resplendens, that is the most beautiful Acmaeodera I have ever seen! :)

Thanks
William - they are striking little bugs!
