Bee Fly - Xenox xylocopae

Bee Fly - Xenox xylocopae
West of Benson, Bordering Cochise County, Arizona, USA
September 21, 2008
Size: Easily 1 inch
A first sighting! What a beautiful fly this is!
Spotted it first on my window screen to the backyard, in our rural desert area, about 4,600 elevation.
Grabbed my camera and went out the door very carefully. The fly was extremely cooperative and gave me several wonderful poses.
Based on the wing pattern, I'm guessing this is of the Xenox habrosus genus. Please confirm.
