Is this the info you needed?

Hi Ron,
I can't figure out which family, genus or species this belongs to.
Many look so similar in the pages.

I never thought about it, a cabbage white was a cabbage white, until I arrived at BugGuide and have learned that the insect world is so much more complicated then I imagined.

Well, Lynn, this one's simple
Your mating pair goes here: http://bugguide.net/node/view/3259/bgimage

I wish it was simple.
Now that you got me there it looks perfect.

It would probably take me half the night to get through all those layers. I should start taking more pictures of these. I didn't know there are so many kinds.

Thanks for taking the time to help me out here, again!

Glad to help
I'm not sure how to make it easier this time, but a search on "cabbage white" brought back an confusing bunch of images and page listings.

Next time, assuming you know the common name, search on that. See if there's a insect close to yours, then click on the picture. Hopefully, that'll get you to the right section.

Never hesitate to ask for help, but do make clear what you need, like an ID, confirmation that you're right, etc.

Just keep posting. You'll learn a lot!
